MTT082 Spectrogram

More house and techno, a bit of IDM, a bit of acid. Mostly kind of lo-fi. A bunch of tracks I wanted to hear.

This show (like most of MTT Year 2) is no longer available for download here. Get in touch with me at the email address listed at the top of this page if you want a copy of it.

  1. The War Against The Sun / Protostellar 00:00
  2. Aril Brikha / Embrace 01:33
  3. R.M / Chikyu-u 001 05:09
  4. Dangerous Frontiers / South Central 08:54
  5. Kenny Larkin / Butterflies 14:30
  6. Omar-S / Flying Gorgars 18:53
  7. Aphex Twin / Ptolemy 22:51
  8. User48736353001 / Lannerlog 25:16
  9. Legowelt / Beyond Ur Self 27:39
  10. Dan White / Ghost Train 31:33
  11. Legowelt / The Soul Of A City 34:38
  12. Zwart Licht Kommando / Tape Deck 38:53
  13. Chris Moss Acid / Niacin's Touch 43:25
  14. Omar S / Psychotic Photosynthesis 48:01
  15. Legowelt / U Can Fly Away From The Hood If U Want 54:11

This mix is the result of listening to Legowelt's TEAC Life all week. All three Legowelt tracks included are from TEAC Life. Highest possible recommendation for that album; it's fantastic and should be heard by everyone interested in house and techno. And it's free, so there's no reason to avoid it.

The other highlight here, beyond Legowelt's tracks, are the two tracks by Omar-S. Flying Gorgars and Psychotic Photosynthesis, both massive tracks. Gorgars is available from his website as wav; Photosynthesis appears to still be available as a 12" from the same website. Photosynthesis in particular is huge, just so good. Wonderfully hypnotic stuff.

This one is alright! It scratched an itch. The track choices are a bit weird, and it doesn't totally work, but the tracks are good, so I guess it balances out.
