MTT126 Spectrogram

The four-on-the-floor trend continues this week with some house and techno. Beware the sketchy vinyl recordings.

This show (like most of MTT Year 3) is no longer available for download here. Get in touch with me at the email address listed at the top of this page if you want a copy of it.

  5. Psyche / Elements 11:20

  7. Suburban Knight / The Groove (Pan Mix) 20:50

This set was thrown together to play Legowelt's Beach Oceano. I've had it on repeat for weeks, since I found it on Unknown To The Unknown's bandcamp page. It reminds me of his Teac Life album; like Teac Life, Oceano is a free download and can picked up at the link above.

There's lots of great stuff in this hour beyond that - Carl Craig's gorgeous Elements, Suburban Knight's Groove, Matala Bobo (the B-side to Rktic, which I've played before). And (!) Tin Piano by my friend Phase 4 Stereo, released on the local netlabel Clusterflux.

I'm thinking electro again next week, followed by my usual celebration of bass in August. Thanks as always to aNONradio for hosting my show, and thanks to everybody out there listening.
