Here's two screenshots of a remake of Aerowalk I was working on a few years ago. More cpm22 than Aerowalk. Was still fiddling with geometry when I drifted away from my #quake dev environment.
I'd like to get a version of gtkradiant working again. Might be difficult on FreeBSD.

I'm over my cold. That means it's time for more music hunting.
Lazily mixed electro. Slower than last week.

This review of Bladerunner (1982) is pretty great:
I re-read the book recently and noticed a number of references to slavery that I missed before. Particularly the TV advertisement playing in Isidore's apartment at the beginning of chapter two.
Techno (House? IDM?) for a tired Thursday night. Unfortunately, due to a
connection issue, the last 10 minutes of this episode were not recorded.
If you'd like to listen anyway, then right-click save-as here or on the
spectrogram above to download the mix from aNONradio's archives.

Found some excellent B12-esque techno yesterday.
They strongly remind me of B12's "Electro-Soma". And they're currently free, so if you're into that, check it out.
A mixture of Dubstep and Dub Techno this week.

I finished reading a book today, "Spin State" by Chris Moriarty. Very much enjoyed it.
It's a kind of posthuman hard sci-fi mystery thing. A kitchen sink of genre elements and interests. The "hard sci-fi" didn't interest me, but the posthuman theme did.
It really pulled me along, page after page. It's been a while since I've had that experience with a book.
And it's got two sequels, which I'll definitely pick up.
Electro again this week, featuring a small run of the Numbers Rhythm.

Apparently Oracle recently let go of most of the engineers still working on Solaris.
I suppose the things to take away from that article are: Illumos & SmartOS are still around, Solaris technologies survive, and Oracle is terrible. (All of which I've heard before. From Cantrill, even.)
On one hand, I'm sad to see Solaris end this way; on the other, I'm glad the technology survives, even if the name doesn't.
This week: selections from old bass CDs... and a bit of Model 500.

Excellent performance vs. Dahang at Quakecon today. Technical difficulties aside this has been an entertaining tournament.
